Gear4 StreetParty Wireless
While I think ‘Street Party’ is a little optimistic for the use of this small unit, it can certainly enhance the sounds from a device connected to it either wirelessly or via a 3.5mm lead. You can even answer phone calls on it.
It is 19x10x7cm the last figure the height is at the front the sloping back nature means the rear is only 6cm.
If you are taking around and about then weight is important and that is 560grams, a good bit of that is its inbuilt battery.
Time available on batty is also important if you are having an external party and this is ‘up to eight hours’ at maximum volume.
The front and sides are covered in fine speaker grill mesh. The top has a silvered rocker button to increase or decrease the volume level. There is also a button to answer/reject/end a phone call should your Bluetooth device include phone ability.
The rear has an on/off slider, Auxiliary input, DC input both leads are supplied and finally an LED charging indicator.
Finally the front has an LED sync status indicator under the gear4 logo badge in the centre of the front of the unit.
There is a small User manual that has the first eight pages in English. Everything is explained including the Blue or Red status meaning of the LED indicator to help you get the best out of your portable music experience.
While it does not have either tone or bass settings the sound out of it is a great improvement from the internal speaker in most Bluetooth devices. As stated it will also work with any other device that has a 3.5mm jack output.
The Gear4 StreetParty Wireless is available from the link below for £53.99 including free delivery.

Gear4 StreetParty Size 0
While the item above is available in traditional Black this one comes in Blue, Pink, Green or Grey, mine was Blue.
It comes with a carrying pouch. The whole of the front is covered in speaker grill mesh. The dock folds down as does the back support. The overall size is 21.5x13x1cm when closed and the depth increases to 6cm with dock and support lowered.
It can either be powered by mains or 4x‘AAA’ batteries the latter are not supplied. The batteries are inserted in line in the rear of the unit. The DC input also enters in the rear as does any 3.5mm jack lead (not supplied) that enables you to use it with non ‘i’ devices. The rear also has the on/off slider.
Once the ‘i’ connector is lowered on the front bottom you can see volume up/down buttons. There is a small remote control that has a total of 13 buttons to allow you to enjoy your music and change tracks etc when not close by.
There is a small User Manual that explains most things it has the first eight pages in English. The Gear4 StreetParty Size 0 is available from the link below for £69.99 with free delivery.
