Similar in concept to Tiny Little Lion's So Much Stuff offering, the Best Friends Game product of Find All Things sets various puzzles based on location themes. This review is based on the Collector's Edition version of the title which comes with an additional six levels and a number of wallpaper screens to supplement the main game.
Following the usual selection of volume and viewing settings, you are faced with a layout showing the current location and a choice of four individual puzzles. Until these four puzzles have been successfully completed, you will be stuck on this level. Best Friends Games obviously feel that any actual progress through the product's various levels will only come with a reward for a successful conclusion of the current level.
As a result you will be required to complete a Hidden Object scene and find the required 16 objects depicted in a scene which also contains a number of coins to add to your bank balance. The other three puzzles at this stage involve a 30-pieve jigsaw, clearing a scene of multiple objects by identifying pairs plus the forth puzzle which tends to be a random choice. In this case you might be required to play a Match 3 puzzle, memory selection of cards or recreating an image broken up into sections of strips. The order in which you complete the four types of puzzle is your choice.
Once the initial level, based on the theme of Sewing, has been completed then you are granted access to a series of themes. These themes cover Vacation, Fashion, Antique Shop, Vegetable Market, Underwater, Ski Resort, Japan, Art, Music Shop, Sport, Beach, School, Café and Camp. These theme need to be completed in their specific order rather than randomly.
Apart from a regular switch between the required Hidden Object list being presented in text or as a pattern, the puzzle type format used will be consistent through the levels. Each completed level with bring a reward of in-play money which can be used to purchase souvenirs from the game shop.
Having completed the main 15 different themes with their puzzling content, you will be granted access to the product's Collector's Edition bonus content. As mentioned earlier this will be made up of six additional levels featuring the themes of Fruit Garden, Garage, Toys, Flower Shop, Street Food and Jewellery. These levels offer more of the same with each one made up of a Hidden Object scene, jigsaw, cluttered scene with pairs and a random puzzle.
Overall I found this title to be rather restrictive and less challenging that the Tiny Little Lion mentioned earlier. I downloaded my copy of the title from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $19.99. The game requires a 1.8 GHz processor with 1024MB of RAM and 697MB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
