While this is only a smallish shop they do have a thriving mail order business. I am telling you about just two items from their wide range of gift items that are sourced from places around the globe and I understand the makers are paid a fair wage.

First a decent sized mirror in the form of a guitar with a resin backing. The second is called a Thunderbox and for a tube with a sprung string attached it makes a really interesting sound. They also have in the same range a series of drums.
Glittery Red Guitar Mosaic Mirror
This is one of two designs of this size sold by Clairabella.
It is 90cm long around 34cm at its widest and only 1cm thick. There is a 20cm circle of glass at the strum end of the unit. Also four .7cm wide and 9cm long rows of four strips of glass along the fret area of the mirror.
It can be hung either vertically or horizontally as there are two eyelets one at the very top end of the guitar and one just at the glass end of the frets both of course on the reverse of the unit. Using the top fixing it will hang down from most picture rails allowing the head and shoulders to be checked as ladies like to do before answering the door.
It could also be hung using the two eyelets and then hung either horizontal or at a slight angle according to string length.
The one I was sent is a red and black mosaic pattern around the central mirror and at the top end. Along the fret area it alternates with the glass and black mosaic items.
This was sent through the post and while well packed by Clairabella the quality is also on show as it arrived undamaged.
It is available either in person at that shop or by mail order on the link below at £26.99.

Spring Drum / Thunder Drum
When the spring is touched the sound coming from the attached tube is exactly like thunder a very impressive sound from a small unit.
The open one end tube is 27cm long and 8cm across. The twisted wire spring is 45cm long when not stretched.
The patterns on the side of the tube look like tribal art. I see they do three sizes 19x6cm at £7.99, 24x7.5cm at £9.99 and the 27x8cm size I was sent at £12.99.
It is listed as a musical instrument along with the range of drums and as the sound is quite like a drum I suppose that is fair enough.
Like the item above you can buy either in person from their shop address on the website of by mail order, the item arrived securely packed in the post so ideal as a present to be sent to someone who is not within easy visiting distance.
