iLuv for iPod Touch

My iPod Touch has been naked for months and of course the reflective back gets covered with fingermarks so this offering from iLuv came just as the weather got colder which spared its modesty when out and about with me.

It is described as a Silicone Case with 3D Patterns, when fitted it increases the overall dimensions by a tad to 11.5x6x1cm. It is made in black or white, mine was white. It feels nice in the hand and should you sweat it will increase stickability.

The screen and surround are of course uncovered. The back has a 1.3x.7cm hole cut for the camera at the top left. The on/off button is not uncovered but a bump in the case shows where to push. The same arrangement on the left side allows volume to be decreased or increased. The base dose have a cut to allow it to fit into a dock for charging or data transfer there is a separate hole for the 3.5mm jack plug.

The silicone case does give some added protection should you drop your iPod Touch, as always the one bit not protected is the screen. The iPod Touch 4^th Gen case ICC613WHT is available for £6.98 including p&p.

Angry Birds Space for iPhone 4S and 4

This is more of a sleeve that clips onto the back of the case. Both the top and base are left clear with a gap at the top of the right edge. The other hole is for the camera at the top left. The plastic is clear along the sides of the case.

Now as I am not an Angry Bids specialist I can only mention that the shape screen printed onto the back of the case is a light blue cube with eyes eye brows and a beak taking the bottom part of the image with Angry Birds Space printed above this a night sky scene (dark blue) with the odd cloud and part of a planet top right of the image.

Mobile Case for Samsung Galaxy III

This is a one piece wooden (yes wooden) back with felt lining. It is a available Walnut, Zebra Wood and the one I was sent White Oak. It has a perfect fit and I needed a thin blade to remove it when the Galaxy III I had it fitted to had to be returned.

This is a lovely item that even improved the feel of the Galaxy in the hand and by slightly increasing the overall size and indenting the on/off and volume keys slightly made them less likely to be pushed by mistake.

There are three square holes at the top of the back for camera and flash etc. The holes are a rectangle in either side for on/off and volume. There is an indentation in the top for 3.5mm jack and in the base for micro USB.

I really liked this case and it was certainly a talking point when added to a phone that is itself one of the most talked about phones recently.
