HP Spectre X360 Aa0000na 2 in 1 Notebook/Tablet

In less than nine months Microsoft stops supporting Windows 10. This offering from HP is both a very nice Notebook and if you turn the screen through 180 degrees it is an excellent Tablet. In either mode you have Touchscreen ability.

This was a brand new unit which took 35 minutes from switch on till you have answered all Microsoft's questions and done the required updates. I then found close to 50 files in 'updates' after around another 30 minutes I saw a number of the updates had been completed and several others required a restart. After I went to restart it decided I needed a BIOS update and after that a Firmware update. When I checked the updates I found everything completed so almost 50 updates in a hour.

The unit is 36x24x1cm at the front and 1.5cm at the back it weights 1983 grams.

The touchscreen is very close to 34x22cm which gives the diagonal imperial measurement of 16 inches. It has a display resolution of 2880x1800 at the default resolution of 200%.

It has 32GB RAM and a 2TB drive. The processor is an Intel Core (TM) Ultra7 running at 3.80GHz.

It comes with Windows 11 Home 24H2 (this has only just become available) 64GHz version. It has a 30day trial of McAfee software as well as a Microsoft games offer as well as a year of 50GB of free Dropbox storage.

The keyboard is 81 keys, there is a gap of 4cm each side of the keyboard that contains the good speakers. There is 2.5cm clear behind the keyboard and 11cm in front of the keyboard with the 16x10cm trackpad mounted in the centre.

Once you rotate the screen through 180 degrees the keyboard becomes dead and it becomes an excellent Tablet.

The left side has 3.5mm socket for headphones and a USB3 socket. The front is clear. The right side has a USB3 and a micro USB socket. The back is also clear so the screen can be rotated to turn it into a Tablet.

While this unit may seem to be quite expensive remember it is both a Notebook and a Tablet.

The link below has it available for £1699.
