This has helped me function during the recent really hot weather, I know many will say that it is great for lying on a beach however if you are in a home office and walking down the hall and back brings you out in a sweat then something of this type not only allows you to feel cooler it also checks the air quality and improves it by drawing air from the room through its HEPA filter before blowing it out of the top of the unit.

There are two different models in this range, this is the more basic one that has a more limited range of functions but for anyone wanting a smaller area covered it is great.

This model is a circular tube 57cm tall, the back half is the air input which starts 8cm from the base and rises to 33cm, from the base behind this area is the HEPA filter so all air is drawn through it.

The air output is on the top of 57cm unit so while there is a good amount of breeze coming from the top loose papers etc. are safe from being blown away unless they are placed extremely near the top of the unit. It also means in most upright chairs the air output starts at around your waist going up towards your head, very refreshing.

There is a small 8.5x3x.8cm remote control that has five buttons on the face but with this unit you are likely to be within touching distance so the three buttons on the top of the unit with the display behind it that shows the current room conditions can do it all. However there is a point at the rear of the unit that it will magnetically attach to so the remote control does not end down the back of the sofa.

By the start of the second day of use I was so much more with it that I was able to work with a clarity that had been missing since the start of this very hot spell ten days previously.

The 39 bars that fan out from the 5cm round display across the rest of top are designed to send out cool air over the surrounding area. I see this unit is stated to cover up to 45 square metres.

I found the slightly higher fan speed noise quite acceptable but there is a Smart mode which is almost imperceptible but the fan is still working but slowly. There is also a Turbo mode which would be distracting over more than a short period.

There are three colours of display depending on various external features it may start in the red (purple) mode but providing it soon changes to green everything is OK.

For the time I have used this product I have had – more relative energy – simply because the air quality has been better and at my age this is a must.

It is stated to eliminate bacteria and anti-virus activity. It is also stated to fill your room with Negative Ions which capture dust.
