Ocoopa UT2s Gamerpro Hand Warmers

Keeping your extremities warm will help you to avoid colds or worse. Good solid shoes and thick socks, a cap or hood and scarf, and then perhaps most important – and the hardest to do – keeping your fingers warm which then help the hands and then your wrists....

These are sold as Hand Warmers which indeed they are, but they are also at least two other things. Their batteries can be used to charge other devices and the backs can give you a light show.

The Hand Warmers sent to me were red and the other blue but I see they do other colours, the clear back has two 1.3x.5cm black switches, one turns on the heat and the other turns on the light show. The side has a 4.5cm rubber cover that has a raised dot at one end, this end is near the heat on/off button. Under the rubber bar is a USB 'C' to charge the internal battery and a USB to allow you to charge other devices from the Hand Warmer.

The heat part is 9x2.5cm and the four sides and front heat up.

They come in a box that also has a fabric bag to allow to take the hand warmers with you as well as two 30cm long USB 'C' to USB 'C' leads and a paper manual.

There are four different heat levels and dependant on which level you set you get between two and eight hours of usage between charges from each Hand Warmer, The back can show heat levels and battery levels by the number of '*' showing.

For those with large hands the two Hand Warmers can be placed together back to back using the units magnetic field and then the area covered with heat is doubled.

If your hands are warm then it helps your wrists keep warm. You can place the hand warmers in pockets, and your hands in gloves or without gloves can benefit.

While I personally see no real benefit from the light show I can see the benefit of being able to charge other things that use USB 'C' like mobile phones.

Perhaps the inclusion of a USB to USB 'C' cable would have been nice.

The Hand Warmers can be purchased from the link below for either £31.99 or £33.99 dependant on colour.
