MSR Pocket Rocket camping stove 

I wanted a new camping stove.  My 15+ year old Coleman fuel one was exensive to run and despite being serviced a few times was just too frisky to use in a tent (3 ft high yellow flames if you didn't pump it enough).

Anyway to cut to the chase, a guy at my local outdoor shop showed me the MSR Pocket Rocket.  It weighs 3oz (86 gms) and can boil a litre of water in under 3.5 minutes.  It packs up in a plastic 'Toblerone' box about 3" long.  Ok so you still have to carry a gas cannister but you can get one of these to last a day which weighs at 4oz (under 125 gms) and is a isobutane/propane mix which is great for cold weather (anyone who has cooked on butane only will know how poor it is as fuel below 0C).

Its just the coolest (well hottest actually) camping stove I've ever had in almost 30 years.  I really rate it!
