Its solid box contains two packs of cards which come in a solid box 12x10x3.5cm that should keep the cards safe between games. There is a 12 page rule book the same size as the box so it can sit safely on top of the packs of cards.
Each pack of cards are two different types so in fact there are really four packs, two packs of 48, one of 14 and the other just 10. The first two packs are each made up of twelve sets of four which are called 'Anger' and 'Zen', the rest are called 'Action' cards 12 'Blood Boilers' and 2 'Super Blood Boilers' and finally two 10 'Disruptors'.
There are two different card backs the first 'Set' – always face up - are the 'Anger' and 'Zen', a total of 96 cards. The second – always face down are the 'Blood Boilers', 'Super Blood Boilers' and 'Disruptors'.
To win you Build and Attack you need to collect four identical 'Zen' cards and four identical 'Anger' cards if you do this its called Anger Smash, the option is to Attack using Blood Boilers and Disruptor which allow you to steal other players cards. 'Anger' and 'Zen' cards are displayed face up so everyone can see them and 'Action' cards are face down so only only you know what you have.
This is a game for between two and five players and there is an 8+ age recommendation. There are lots of illustrations in the rule book so things are easy to follow.
