Finding Wild Animals
Buy Now...
Having tackled the prospect of finding pets previously, Tiny Little Lion has shifted its focus slightly. Their new area of focus within its Hidden Object gaming software is finding wild friends. This switching of focus can be seen in the company's I Love Finding Wild Friends with this product being available in Collector's Edition format which comes bundled various bonus items to accompany the main game play.
The game has options to adjust various audio volume levels and select either full screen viewing or another resolution setting. However the game does not offer a choice of difficulty levels. Instead it does take you on a journey that covers 18 different locations where you will be faced by Hidden Object challenges and mini game play. You can either follow the program's set path through the various locations or, by selecting the chapter menu option, cherry pick from the various locations you will find listed there.
Each location will start with a Hidden Object scene with two different formations being used. You could either be faced by a busy scene overlaid with a panel at the bottom of the screen. This panel will provide access to Hint and Zoom tools as you search for hidden wild friends, butterflies and required items plus provide a link to a second scene. While the two linked scenes will house 20 wild friends, ten in each, three butterflies, or the morphing items they turned into, can be found in either scene. The Hint tool will only help when searching for those items in the required list.
Having completed the Hidden Object challenge, a second approach to this type of game play will appear. This time two separate scenes will be displayed side-by-side. Concealed somewhere in either of the scenes will be three wild friends and a number of listed items that you will be required to find. Zoom and Hint features are available for finding and targeting the required items.
Along with the types of Hidden Object challenges, the game mixes in a variety of mini game puzzles. These mini game puzzles arrived in no set order although they can be based on the subject matter of wild friends. You might need to put together the irregular pieces of an animal jigsaw, join together dots to product an animal figure or rotate section of an animal scene to complete it. Other tasks could involve spotting the difference between two similar scenes or colouring in a sketch. Matching similar images from face down cards and finding specific images from a collection of icons are other possible challenges.
Once the game's main 18 locations have been completed you gain access to the various bonus items. An additional six locations are available plus extra wallpaper, a jukebox facility, butterfly album and a Paint by Pixel bonus facility to keep you busy. This package is well worth considering and can be downloaded from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $19.99. It is also available from Big Fish Games priced at £15.69. The game requires a 2.0 GHz processor with 4096MB of RAM and 2.03GB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
