Following the pattern established by earlier entries in this series, this game allows you to make adjustments to the volume levels of the product's various audio features while viewing the action in full screen mode as you join a family of four on their next vacation
After a brief introduction to your four travelling companions, your holiday vacation begins in Umea City in Sweden with some general information that would appeal to a tourist. You are then presented with a series of tasks that follow a set pattern. The opening gambit reveals an appropriate scene of the location and an overlaid panel containing tasks and tools.
While generally the tasks will involving finding items that could be listed in text, image or silhouette format. When text is the presented format then items coloured red will be hidden from view. Items coloured blue will involve the carrying out of a task.
A separate section of the panel will contain an image of another object which needs to be found in the scene. Although not included in the panel, each scene will contain a stamp and a raccoon wearing a colourful waistcoat which will need to be found to gain extra points. To aid you when searching for the listed items, you will be provided with Hint and Supper Hint features that can pinpoint undiscovered items but not the stamp or raccoon.
Once you have found all the items listed, you will be offered a second list of items. This second set will be shown in a different format to that used for the first set, Other features of the panel will remain constant as you find the desired items.
Once both the initial stages of Hidden Object game play have been completed then you will be tasked with completing a mini game puzzle. The game has access to a variety of puzzle types and will select one randomly and present it with brief instruction plus an option to Skip the puzzle should it prove too difficult. Among the types of puzzle presented are Jigsaws featuring cut-out pieces, Spot the Difference task, placing tea bags in the correct cups, swapping elements of a scene, reassembling a shield or designing and clearing pathways for parts of a picture to come together.
