Two more items from Brando in Hong Kong. Who have a huge range of fans available. The first is described as a Desktop Fan and the second as a Bladeless Fan something I have only seen previously from Dyson in a high priced unit.

USB Rota-Rota Dual Fan
It is 27x10.5x12cm and can be controlled by USB or by 3x‘AA’ batteries. It has two rotateable fans mounted above each other.
The lower fan looks bigger but it is only the surround fitment that is larger, both have three blades and are 8cm diameter.
The semi circular base is where you would insert the ‘AA’ batteries and on the top of this are two ‘D’ shaped buttons the one on the left (inverted ‘d’) controls the top fan and the one on the right the bottom fan. Both can be used separately or together.
Mine was blue and white, movement is only on the vertical plain (no side to side) but the centre axis point allows one to be pointing one way while the other is fanning the other direction. They can of course both be pointing one way and the central axis allows almost any angle as the rotation means upwards and downwards is possible.
The other colours available are pink/white, green/white and black/white. Certainly when on a desk within around 30cm then one of the two fans was enough. In fact you could cool two when the unit is rotated if they sit beside or opposite each other.
I tested it during a period that included the hottest day of the year and I can say that while in my office I was nice and cool. The USB lead supplied is 1metre long. While there was some small amount of noise with both fans going it was not distracting.
The Desk Fan is available from the link below for $12 (US) + $3 (US) P&P whatever the size of your order.

USB Bladeless Fan (Happy Kid Fan with Speaker)
This is 24x14x15cm and mine was green and white. Other colours available are blue/white, yellow/white, purple/white and pink/white. The bladeless design means it is totally safe even with young children as you can put a finger or hand in the flow with no problems.
There is no adjustment in the flow so to get the right angle may mean moving it around to find the right place to position it. The 1.5metre USB lead can be helpful to get this positioned correctly. It is a little noisy in operation.
Those you know Brando well will not be surprised when I say it has a second function as there is a pair of speakers mounted in the base of the unit so you can lower the noise level somewhat by having the speakers play music. The rear has the USB lead input in the centre and two audio connections either side to take sound from your PC.
Between the speakers at the front is a simple push on/off button the speakers are controlled from your PC or notebook.
The USB Bladeless Fan is available from the link below for $29 (US) + $3 (US) P&P whatever the size of your order. The link below also has a video showing this fan in action.
