It is 15.8x7.5x1cm with the transparent cover fitted and it weighs 216 grams. The viewable screen is 14.5x6.8cm which gives the notional diagonal imperial screen measurement of 6.4 inches which is the same resolution as most standard computers Full HD 1920x1080.
Also in the box a Getting Started guide, 13amp USB plug front, USB to USB ‘C’ lead and the all-important pin to open the side of the case to insert SIM.
The right side has the volume rocker and below this the on/off button – twenty seconds on and two seconds off. The base has microphone, USB ‘C’ for charging and storage via an OTG device, and, speaker that has a good amount of volume. The left side has entry point for ‘Nano’ SIM and Micro SD Card in the same tray. The top has 3.5mm socket for headphones or earbuds. The back has a vertical line of cameras near the left edge with LED flash beside the top camera below this is a fingerprint reader. The front has a visible camera at the top left edge.
The Home Screen has icons at the top left for emails waiting to be read and other notifications, while the top right shows time, battery state and Wi-Fi and 4G signal strength.
Below this a circle which has a larger clock and day and date as well as remaining battery percentage. Further down for the Google bar and below this two lines of five icons. Finally the three icons Back, Home and All Open.
It has a 5000mAh battery and should be enough for most users to get three days of use from a single charge.
The four cameras on its back should be able to cope with all normal – and most abnormal – demands. The AI built in can cover everything from close ups to long distance with panorama chucked in for good measure.
I have already mentioned the sound being good in volume it’s also good in quality.
It has a Snapdragon 665 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage and it also supports a Micro SD card and OTG.
It is described as water repellent which in the small print is stated to be spills, splashes and light rain, but not submerging.
In my tests it handled everything I requested without delay and the screen was always clear and sharp.
