The screen is 60x36.5cm and its inverted ‘V’ shaped stand is 28cm from back to front and at its widest point it is 46cm. Unlike a lot of stands it allows side to side movement. The stand can raise the screen by between 3cm and up to 16cm from your desk.
The connections are in a line under a slight overhang on the back. 3.5cm socket for audio output, USB connect from PC, and then four USB ports two by two with the two closer to the back being fast charge, next are two DisplayPort and finally two HDMI. Beyond the upright of the stand is the mains input and near the right edge the four position nipple with press activating items from the very comprehensive range of choices that include picture in picture and even a vertical split of the screen into two even halves.
This unit is a low latency HDR gaming unit, it has the ability to give ultra-fast 240Hz for virtually lag free gaming, there is 0.5ms speed giving very crisp images. A translation of the previous sentence means you will get clear crisp images that would otherwise be smudged or blurred at a normal 60Hz refresh rate and for gamers that is probably the difference between life and death.
The QHD display shows significantly more than a standard HD display and that means you see your enemies that bit sooner.
For those also planning to use the screen for work the multi view (vertical split screen option) allows you to have input from two devices shown on the one screen so for instance a desktop and a notebook or tablet.
Having side to side movement of the screen means that you can show screen content to other people without them having to look over your shoulder.
All in all it is a rather nice unit and it should stop any problems from long periods of use that can occur when there is no flicker free or low blue light options to help.
Lot of images are available on the Philips site to illustrate differences.
