First one of the smallest at less than 10cm tall which has either a looping light or a light always on inside the rabbit. Second one of the largest Pokémon items and certainly for the older child which has induction charging for your iPhone and also USB for those of us without ‘i’ devices.

It is a tad over 9cm tall and comes with the required batteries fitted inside behind a door in the base protected by a Philips screw to deter a young child from eating them. A cord is attached between its ears to hang from the top of a pram so the child can be entertained.
The switch on the base has three positions, off, on with a slow rotation from on to off which may even encourage sleep and finally on.
In my ignorance – my time was well before Pokémon – I called the Pikachu a rabbit.
If the cord were removed I see no reason why the young child should not hold – suck - chew it.
If placed on a hard surface a downward movement on top of it will produce a small amount of light and another push a brighter light something I admit would have fascinated me seventy or so years ago.
This is a nice simple toy for the young child.

Pikachu Induction & USB Charger
This Pikachu is laying down with the shelf for induction charging over its head and back. I do not regard this item as a toy but a tool.
It is 26cm long, 21cm wide and 11cm tall and weighs 450 grams without the charger lead and induction adapter.
All the connections are on the right side in a line first the DC input, next the on/off button then three USB ports, the final indication is on the side of the face an LED to indicate if the induction charge is taking place.
To use the shelf on the top of the unit the supplied iPhone adapter needs to be plugged into you iPhone.
There is a small multi language booklet to explain everything you may need a magnifying glass to read the instructions.
As I currently do not have an iPhone I could not test the Induction charging but I did use the USB ports.
Why make a tool look like a toy and children far too young to understand may think of it as a toy.
