Your mobile phone is often regarded as an extension of your personality. Check out some models available from Sony Ericsson.

There seems to be no slowing down in the uptake of mobile phones and in the increased functionality that they offer to the ever-demanding public. All the signs are that mobile phones will be included, if not placed top of the list, in most people's wish list for a gift for the coming festive season. If you are looking for the ideal present for somebody or are hoping that you will be the recipient of such a device then maybe you will interested in some models available from Sony Ericsson.

For those with a particular interest in music, Sony Ericsson has a couple of phones that might appeal. These belong to the Walkman family. The W800i can provide users with the capability to access over 150 tracks stored on the phone's 512MB memory card. Other features include a 2 mega-pixel camera with auto focus, RDS FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity and video capture / playback.

The second model is the W500i which is aimed more at the youth market. Its swivel-action reveals a 1.8" colour screen to enhance video viewing and 3D game playing. A 1.3 mega-pixel camera, FM radio plus CD ripping software are all included and should appeal to its target market sector.

The fashion conscious have not been forgotten as they search for the ultimate style accessory. For ladies looking for a mobile phone to match their outfit (Sony Ericsson's categorisation, not mine I hasten to add), there is the Z520i. This is a clamshell model with numerous customising options. You can change the front and back covers; create combinations of ring-tones, images and light effects for incoming calls from specified friends.

Fashion also applies to those who must have all the bells & whistles of the latest technology. In this case Sony Ericsson offers the K600i. This is a 3G phone with integrated camera. You can watch the news and sport as it happens; record video and send the results to others; play music and games; plus surf the Internet.

If photography is more your scene then the K750i might be have some interest for you. It sports a 2 mega-pixel camera that has auto focus and photo light features. The K750i has a built-in music player, video recorder, Bluetooth and infrared that help add to its appeal.

Described as the ultimate smartphone, the P910i has been designed to control your social calendar and help you complete your busy schedule. This phone includes a PDA, camera, email facilities and the option to browse the Web. You also get a flip-out QWERTY keyboard and natural handwriting recognition.

Finally Sony Ericsson has not forgotten the younger members of the family. The J300i has a 3D gaming engine plus video clip downloading capabilities. The more creative can compose ring-tones and design their personal wallpaper to customise their own communicator.

For more details on any of these phones, check out the Sony Ericsson web site and then send off those requests to Santa.
