I do not have the largest head and no hair to speak of so the well padded headband comes in very useful, fully compressed there is 4cm of extra expansion on either side, I found it just right fully compressed, then there is 18cm from the base of the earpieces to the centre of the base of the headband. The external measurements of the earpieces are 10cm tall and 8cm wide.
There is a good length of USB lead which totals 2.1metres surely plenty long enough.
I tried this on a brand new HP notebook an older Dell notebook and my recently purchased second user Acer PC and all required a BIOS update which takes place about 30 seconds after you start playing your first track so I certainly suggest you do this before playing any game as even if you try to ignore the request it still takes place and you end up with no sound until you do it.
While this is a headset it can be used as a set of headphones as the microphone can be removed - as at my age I play few games - but I recognise that hearing the slightest sound could be a life or death experience for any game player.
So from here on I concentrate on the stereo sound quality, it was excellent as even the quietest bass notes and the tiniest touch on the side of a drum comes through clearly. There is plenty of sound adjustment on the left earpiece between the USB lead and microphone.
The User Guide consists of four illustrations which basicly shows you connecting it and then starting to play sounds, remember with the three devices from brand new to several years old all required a BIOS update.
At the time of publication the FAYZO 7.1 USB Gaming Headset is available from Amazon for just £33.99.
