As the only way anyone can get around safely is by walking my shoes have taken a fair amount of punishment and with the cost of repairs such as ‘sole and heal’ being astronomical these days it becomes pointless to do so, it may not be good for the planet but when repairs are twice the price of a new pair it’s a no brainer.
There is a good amount of information about the shoe and also several images available so if you are sure of your size it becomes easy.
Yes a number of their shoes are only in limited sizes – as you would expect – as they are selling everything off to get what can.
After browsing I choose a pair reduced from £40 – when normally on sale – to £16 on Friday 29th January when I placed my order. I got an acknowledgment immediately and three days later a note supposedly from MyHermes to say on their way but when I checked their site they were ‘awaiting arrival’ then on Monday 8th February an email to say delivery today with a two hour slot, less than 30 minutes into that slot they were delivered. Debenhams website did say up to ten working days for delivery so they easily managed that.
There is a charge of £2.99 for delivery however big or small your order but as there is a 10% off with your first order this is partly covered as I was charged £17.39 including delivery. If you order more items – they do men’s women’s and children’s clothing and other items so the 10% off would totally remove the delivery charge on three items or even on two items if they were higher priced ones.
They are nice comfortable shoes and probably worth the £40 original price so at £17.39 a bargain.
The only way I could buy shoes of this quality and comfort on the high street at less than that would be from a charity shop and of course they are all currently closed as well as any normal shoe shop.
