Multipurpose Spatulas
I am sure we all try to use a spoon to get into corners of a round saucepan, maybe even a knife. They do not work a finger may be better but as the contents are often hot that is not a good idea even if you are cooking for yourself.
Here a set of two spatulas, the smaller one is red and the larger one is black, they are 23cm and 28cm long one edge is nearly flat the other curved and of course they do what they are meant to do. They are dishwasher proof work up to 250degrees centigrade and best of all do not scratch non stick cookware.
The Multipurpose Spatulas are available from the link below for £15.98 with free delivery.

Measuring Spoons
Like the item above these are sold as a set of two. While most of us hunt for a teaspoon, desert spoon or tablespoon or dare I say guess the amount these give accurate measurements.
They do not look at all like spoons and you certainly would not stir your tea with one. They are 14cm and 18cm long and each has an adjustment to allow for ¼ or ½ a spoon etc. They both come with a hole in the top end so you can hang them up when not in use, preferable to searching in a drawer.
The Adjustable Measuring Spoons are available from the link below for £17.77 with free delivery.

Adjustable Rolling Pin
While most homes will have a rolling pin – you don’t see many milk bottles these days – often it was great grannies and this is a distinct improvement.
It has a width guide so anything between 5-30cm can be rolled easily. A suggestion I had never thought of is to place it in the fridge before using.
Best of all it allows you to set the thickness so 3mm, 5mm or 8mm can be accurately rolled. Certainly any pastry cook will love something of this type.
The Adjustable Rolling Pin is available from the link below for £21.07 with free delivery.

Professional Whisk
Yes I am sure most keen cooks have an electronic mixer or even perhaps a complex multi unit. There are however times when something needs whisking and to get the mixer out is a faff so a decent whisk to get volume in whatever you are whisking is a must.
Eggs are one such item, I know a fork is always close to hand but while it will combine it will never give volume. An omelette is something that appreciates good volume and those who care will often beet the yolks after getting good volume in the whites and the soufflé result will really make your omelette a triumph.
For any novice cook out there you will never get good volume in egg whites if there is even a touch of yoke mixed in, that is why you whisk whites before yokes.
The Professional Whisk is 30cm long and has ten pairs of thongs to make any whisking easier.
The Profession Precision Whisk is available from the link below for £11.34 with free delivery.
