It is 61x37x1.5cm; all the connections are in a single line on a downward pointing overhang on the rear 9cm up from the base. They are from right to left power input, USB upstream, four USB ports 2x2 (one always on providing there is power to the panel) two HDMI and two DisplayPort and finally a 3.5mm audio socket.
The panel can be used in both landscape and portrait modes, in landscape it can be as little as 5.5cm above your desk and a maximum of 21cm above it. There is plenty of both back and forward tilt. The ‘X’ shaped stand is 7cm behind the centre and 16cm in front and it is 50cm wide at the widest in front.
This is a mixture of Free Sync 2 and HDR 400 technologies to deliver great colour and shades of black and with 165Hz and 1ms refresh rate. The contrast is 3000:1
So you ask what is the minus it is not great power consumption wise, so if you pay the electricity bill you might look elsewhere however with the huge discount on the original price it will take a while to use all that power.
The 5W speakers are one of the more powerful I have found on flat panels.
Should it be appropriate the specifications state it is VESA mountable.
It comes with a three year manufacturer’s warranty.
The screen controls are all from a single nipple on the rear which is far easier than using several buttons under the front edge and the six windows options are 2x3 display in the right bottom corner of the screen Game Settings, Luminance, Image Setup, Colour Setup, Extra and OSD setup once an option is selected you make selections by up, down, left and right with the central position used to select a very clever setting.
The only minus point is power consumption.
Available from Box for £288.99 and as it was over £800 that’s a huge saving.
