These initial scenes and related tasks will result in the appearance of certain tools.  Arranged across the bottom of the game's various scenes will be tools that indicate the current task, a map showing areas where actions and collectibles are available, an inventory, Strategy Guide and Hint features.  The inventory will include a camera to capture photo evidence.  You also get pop-out icons, appearing on either side of the screen for accessing the results for decisions made on the right and collectibles on the left.

With its focus concentrating on the activity of stage magicians and their world of illusion, there is plenty of opportunities for the game to include puzzles and features requiring you to carry out specific tasks to achieve results.  There will be boxes and containers to open as you try to perform the tricks of the magician in the search for evidence.  You will need to question suspects and examine evidence plus make decisions that will affect the flow of the story.

As you continue your investigation you will encounter some Hidden Object sessions and mini game puzzle challenges.  Indicated by an outbreak of sparkles, the game with deliver Hidden Object sessions that offer the player the option of switching to Match 3 game play if the Hidden Object does not appeal.  Among the choices of Hidden Object action you could be asked to find lists in text, silhouettes, pairs or parts of an item.
