The house in question has been cursed and now contains numerous evil demons who have been able to resist other methods of removal. As a result you have been called in to use your skills at Match 3 game play and mini game puzzle solving to carry out a full spirit cleansing of the building. When playing this game, with adjustable volume levels, you can opt for Relaxed, Timed or Move restricted action when carrying out your work.
For most of the time you will be operating in Match 3 game play mode as you are faced with various grids filled with a variety of tiles and elements that will need to be manipulated to achieve the desired results. Rather than being presented with a challenge made up of a specified number and types of tiles, completion of the grid will require the collection of ten gold coins. This task will usually be carried out by causing an explosion to occur next to the coin by the creation of a Match 3 group of three by switching two adjacent tiles.
Tile switching can also prove useful in other ways. By creating groups with four or more tiles, you can gain the reward of a power-up in the form of a rocket, bomb or a device capable of removing tiles of a specific type. Other tasks dealt with by the creation of groups could involve dealing with light beams, removing stones, lava, fog, sand, chains, darkness and ice blocks as you work towards your eventual aim of a house clearance.
At various intervals, the steady stream of Match 3 action will be interrupted by a random mini game puzzle. You might be asked to spot the difference between two similar scenes of dilapidated mansions or try to complete a Solitaire card game. Another puzzle type could involve controlling a beetle that can push, but not pull, a series of diamonds into their correct homes.
Once you have build up enough power from completing a number of Match 3 grids, the software will take over the actual cleansing process and remove the evil demons from parts of the building. The actual process will produce a visual special effect as demons are evicted from the building.
