The HP Envy x360 measures 30.5x21.5x1.5cm the last figure at the rear while the front is only 1cm thick. The left side has USB, HDMI and two USB 'C'. The front is clear as is the back as the screen goes through 360 degrees to become a Tablet. The right side has 3.5mm socket and a USB. The base has ventilation and the speakers which still have good volume when used as a conventional Notebook.
The keyboard has 80 keys, there is a 2cm gap either side and a tad under 2cm behind, there is 9.5cm clear in front and the 12.5x8cm trackpad is mounted centrally in this space. The screen is 30x17.5cm which gives the diagonal imperial measurement of close to 14 inches. The 1920x1200 display is shown by default at 150%.
I rarely get to see AMD systems here it is Ryzen 7 with 3.3GHz. There is 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD which has 475GB available less of course when Windows 11 64bit version is installed this is around 424GB once setup.
I have a standard range of tests as well as installing some Apps during the review period and was more than happy in both Notebook and Tablet modes, the latter has an on-screen keyboard taking the lower part of the display.
This is a machine that is easy to use both at home/office and indeed on the move and with the option to switch to Tablet mode quickly when necessary you are equipped either way.
In autumn next year Microsoft will end support for Windows 10 so if you have not yet upgraded to Windows 11 it will be forced on you before then. You certainly do not want to be using an unsupported machine as there are many people out there who are waiting to pounce on your data.
Windows 11 is a far better product now that what was first produced and is able to cope with demands and this AMD seems just as good as an Intel processor.
This AMD Envy x360 model number 14-fa0007na is available directly from the HP website for £1049. Currently there is a £200 trade in for your old notebook or PC.
