Continuing its European excursions, mixed with puzzle solving and Hidden Object game play, AVI Games adds another offering.

AVI Games latest excursion into the world of Big Adventure game play comes in the form of Trip to Europe 7.  As with the previous entries in this series, this game presents a mixture of Hidden Object game play and mini game puzzles as you accompany a family of four on their vacation.  Following a set route of places to visit, you get to discover some basic information regarding countries that include Serbia, Croatia and Switzerland along with Sognefjord Norway, the Lindesnes Lighthouse Norway, the Mykones Island in Greece and Bobbio in Italy.

Each location will open with some brief information that might well appeal to a tourist.  You will then be faced by a two-stage Hidden Object game play.  In both these stages, you will be presented with the same scene featuring a selection of collectible items.  Among these items will be a postage stamp and a raccoon that has a liking for wearing colourful waistcoats.  If found these items will bring a reward.

You will also need to collect items listed in a panel positioned beneath the scene.  The list of items could be in text format with some items coloured red to indicate they are hidden or blue when a task will be involved.  As well as a text list, the game sometimes displays required items as  silhouettes, patterns, drawings or images.  As well as the main list, the panel will also contain a slot to hold an occasional bonus that can be found for even more points.

While the same scene will be used for both of the Hidden Object sessions. the task facing you will be changed somewhat.  The required list will tend to use a different format and bonus items will be completely different in content and appearance.  There could also be some possible variety as to whether you just collect or need to collect and replace the various items.

Having completed the two-stage Hidden Object action, you will then be faced by a mini game puzzle.  The type of puzzle will vary in their type and difficulty level.  You could be asked to link points on a map; arrange a collection of emblems; remove pairs from a screen or swap elements to create a scene.  At other times you could be asked to arrange dominoes; create garden path; match halves; spot the differences and place together pieces of a railway track.  All the various puzzles provide you with a Skip option if it proves too difficult for you.

Having completed the main trip of European locations, you can gain access to the title's bonus offering.  There are additional levels and puzzles to tackle.  You can also view the stamps collected during the main game and check out any souvenirs purchased with points awarded plus view various wallpapers and replay the game's background music.

This title is available for downloading from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $19.99.  You can also download this title from Big Fish Games priced at £15.84.  The game requires a 1.6 GHz processor with 1024MB of RAM and 524MB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
