Eilie Goes to Brazil

With the aid of Japanese Crossword puzzles, can you assist Eilie get to the Brazil Carnival?

After visiting Japan for the last Adventure Mosaics excursion, DIGIMIGHT has selected Brazil and its carnival for its next location in which to place its Nonogram game play.  As usual with titles from this series, you can create profiles to allow different people to have their progress recorded.  Adjustments can be made to various volume levels, select your choice of tile sets and opt for either Casual or Advanced level of difficulty when working with Nonogram layers.

In the case of this offering in the Adventure Mosaics series, you need to start off by assisting Eilie get to the carnival after she missed her flight to Rio.  To carry out this task you will need to work through 150 Japanese colour crossword puzzles or Nonograms as they are often called.  These Nonograms are split into five groups that are entitled Tropical Jungle, Exciting Flight, Sunny Beach, Shortcut and Brazilian Carnival to represent the different stages on the journey that Eilie must embark on to achieve her desire of attending the Carnival.

The game uses the familiar Nonogram concept as you complete layers assigned a certain colour and filling in cells by following numeric clues running across the top and down the left side of the current grid.  While in most cases, a grid will have six layers, some will only have five layers with a single colour removed from the mix.  Once all the layers of a grid have been completed, then they will merge together to form an image in mosaic format.

As well as the mosaic images, each of the various locations will also hold eight sections of a scene.  These elements are provided as a reward for completing certain of the Nonogram grids.  You will need to place these elements in the correct position within a silhouette area to create a scene that will eventually grant access to the next location and you can move on to the next group.

Hopefully your Nonogram creating skills will be enough to help Eilie manage to reach the Brazilian Carnival in time to enjoy the festivities and enjoy herself.  I downloaded my copy of this game from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $9.99.  The game requires a 1.0 GHz processor with 512MB of RAM and 243MB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
