When faced by a Tiny Little Lion developed product, you can be reasonably certain that the challenge on offer with involve some kind of puzzle solving activity. This next title from the company is no exception as it combines a variety of puzzle styles with a large amount of resource material for the different puzzles to make use of when being put to the testing of your skill levels as you tackle its content. The product in question is entitled Just Find It 2 and it is available in Collector's Edition format which adds extra features and resource material to the basic game play.
The game allows you to create profiles that record the progress of different players. Adjustments can be made to the volume levels used for background music and sound effects. There is a choice of playing the game in full screen mode or one of the supported resolution settings. It also looks as if you have a choice of languages for displaying instructions but actually you are limited to the default option of English only.
When viewing the game's various game playing options you are presented with a dual menu system option. These deal with the puzzle type and the available source material. The puzzle type menu list a choice of Difference, Detail, Match, Memory, Montage and Swap as you opt for the type of your preferred current type of challenge.
Positioned alongside this list is a large menu structure showing the available sources of content material that could be used for the selected type of puzzle. The full complement of this menu will consist of 75 different categories. Fortunately you do not need to be overwhelmed by the full load. By selecting one of the puzzle types, just those categories considered suitable for that puzzle will be displayed thus limiting your choices.
Given a clear indication as to which content types have been used previously, each entry in the category menu, displayed as a large thumbnail, will feature a box that will be ticked if it had been accessed earlier. In some cases the content image will also feature a Lion's head stamp mounted on a shield. The appearance of this stamp indicates which content group will contain a collectible lion symbols and also let you know if it has been found earlier or not.
Having found numerous samples of the scattered lion heads, I was unable to find any way of putting them to any use either in the main game or the Collector's Edition additions. Fortunately the Collector's Edition did contain some additional items. You do get some additional puzzles, wallpaper items and access to a music player app to listened to ten music tracks.
This game should appeal to compulsive puzzle solvers, I downloaded my copy of this game from Gamehouse.com where it is priced at $19.99. You can also download this title from Big Fish Games where it is priced at £15.22. The game requires a 2.0 GHz processor with 4096MB of RAM and 1.06GB of hard disk space running Windows 7 and later.
