This offering from Zhiyun is called the Smooth-Q3 is not only a very comprehensive Gimbal but has an arm that can also be a tripod; it also has an added light that can improve what you capture in low light conditions.
In the box is a padded zip up case that contains the collapsed Gimbal the arm that can be used either as a Gimbal extension useful for seeing over others as it can give you another 12.5cm of height or as mentioned as a tripod as its three legs splay out to form a tripod. A single double sided A5 card shows how to extend and start the Gimbal and the other side describes what the buttons on the Gimbal do.
Behind a zipped up area of the inside of the case lid are a USB lead to charge the Gimbal and various other bits including a credit card sized Zhiyun Prime redemption and a very strange shaped Quick Start Guide with around six sides per language I counted over thirty different languages and if the illustrations on the A5 card are not enough this puts the illustrations into words.
Like so many things today it is linked to an App either from the iOS or Android store, often these Apps are not required for some of the features but here the App has a lot more to do with even basic control of the Gimbal, without it all you have is an extension to your hand to hold your SmartPhone.
This Gimbal allows you shoot in either Portrait or Landscape at the touch of a single button.
For those into social media you can live stream via the App.
The App also brings lots of effects so your Gimbal can do far more.
The App also supports editing of your work with Templates, Music, Special Effects and Filters.
The rotatable fill light has three different brightness levels and without it you would often require an external light now where did I put that third hand.
If your SmartPhone supports wide angle then so does this Gimbal from Zhiyun, then one tap can activate SmartFollow in the App.
Another feature allows you to Clone yourself – or someone else – within the App.
Gesture control allows you to be in the image with automated shooting.

This was easy to setup and link the results were rather good.
