This is not only an excellent portable speaker but also a two microphone unit that can kill other external sounds so it works well in areas that are very noisy.

click image to enlargeThe Poly Sync 10 speaker from HP measures 18x9x3cm and has a fixed USB lead of 63cm in length, the unit also comes with with a USB 'C' adapter if your PC or Notebook does not have USB.
There is a start Guide sheet that shows the five touch buttons on the front of the unit and how to connect to your PC/Notebook either with USB or USB 'C'. The rear of the leaflet has where you can collect more information either from a link or a QR code.
All you need to do is plug it in to USB and possibly check to see that output is the Poly Sync 10 rather than internal speakers. This action will also turn on the units internal microphones unless you have pressed the microphone off button on the front of the unit. Now if you play some music you will hear quality probably better than most internal speakers.
It not only supports most standard ways of communicating but also Microsoft Teams.
The Poly Lens application is available from the HP website.
Sound quality from music was excellent for anyone working at a PC/Notebook with good bass and even for higher range audio voices.
The other unit that it excels with is audio inputs from phone calls or video calls especially from noisy places that may have other audio noises or even things like railways stations that enable you to hear perfectly what is being said.
Its internal battery is automaticity charged while connected to a PC or Notebook.
Poly items are not the cheapest but they are probably the best and if you are using it in an office environment then one mistake could cost a lot more than the cost of the speaker.
It also has water resistance not that I suggest you use it in the bath.
At the time of publication the Poly Sync 10 is available from Amazon priced at £33.90.
